Planting felt and fabric line baskets or wrap around the root ball to keep the soil in place once submerged. Without them, the soil escapes through the gaps in the basket and clouds the water, and the roots lack support.
The collection offers Velda Cloth Liners in 45 x 45, 60 x 60, and 90 x 90 cm, jute fabric in 45 x 45 cm and 1 x 2 m, as well as the Oase Aquabag, a 1 x 0.6 m coconut fiber bag with stakes for banks. Choose the size based on the basket: the fabric must cover the bottom and the sides with enough margin to be folded over.
Jute and coconut fiber degrade over time, which allows the roots to spread; synthetic felt lasts longer.
